How The Integration Works

Once Ambassify has been installed within MS Teams, you'll have access to the community from the Teams sidebar, and every one of your employees will be able to easily access it and all its content with one click.

But first things first: how can you integrate Ambassify within Microsoft Team? There are two ways to do that: you can download it directly from the Microsoft Teams Store (if you have not enabled a white label domain) or install it manually from the company catalog (if you have enabled a white label domain). 

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Adding the integration to the company catalog

To install the Ambassify community into your Teams application, an admin must first add the Ambassify application to the company catalog.

If the Teams integration is available in your plan, you can go to the settings in the backend of your Ambassify account, then go to Integrations, and select Microsoft Teams. 

Here, you can download the application installer. You can upload the file you'll receive to your organization's catalog.

Step 2: Installing the integration

Once the application has been added to your company catalog, you can install it within Teams.

 Go to the 'Apps' section in the Teams sidebar. Select 'Built for your org,' and there, you'll find the Ambassify community. Click on it to install Ambassify on your account. 

Step 3: Pin it to the Teams sidebar for easy access

Once installed, you can choose to pin Ambassify to the sidebar by right-clicking the Ambassify icon and clicking on 'Pin.' Your employees will now be able to access the community directly from Teams, and immediately start sharing content through it.
